Hi, everybody – Welcome to Home on the Range’s brand-new blog!

Lynne Bier

My name is Lynne Barton Bier and I am the owner/founder of Home on the Range Interior Design and Home Furnishings. I am writing to introduce you to our new blog and also to let you know about what we can do for you to help make your home into something that’s special to you and everyone who sees it.

Having been personally involved in the home furnishing and interior design business in Steamboat Springs, CO for over twenty years, I am continually engaged, along with my design team, with a wide range of projects, ranging from minor remodels/quick makeovers to multi-year custom home projects and everything in between.

We are known for the distinctive versatility of our design styles, which include traditional Western, Mountain Contemporary and Mountain Lodge – we also aren’t afraid to blend styles to come up with that totally unique look for our clients. One of our consistent design goals is to apply our skills in tandem with our clients’ tastes to create cozy, inviting interiors that are timeless in their appeal.

Our showroom is filled with home furnishings and accessories, including unique pieces from around the world, together with antiques and high-quality upholstered furniture. We are able to commission pieces specifically to meet our clients’ needs for those special, one-of-a-kind situations that deserve custom colors, sizes and design.

Through our blog, we intend to keep you up to date on what’s new at Home on the Range, give you some fun and practical design tips as well as showcase some of the artisans who we work closely with to help create that special “Home on the Range” look. Soon, we will be adding a section to the blog for furniture and accessories — anything that’s displayed can be shipped to you for your convenience.
